Born from the Harbour, Built for Everyone
Marina Bay Cafe began with a simple but powerful idea — that a great cup of coffee should be accessible to everyone, regardless of how they communicate. Nestled at 474 Head St in Victoria, BC, our cafe sits steps from the harbour, a place where the community gathers, slows down, and connects.
As a Deaf-owned and Deaf-operated business, we have always understood that true hospitality is about making every single person feel seen, valued, and welcome. From the very beginning, we designed our space and our service around that belief.
Our Commitment
We Speak Your Language
Our entire team is actively learning American Sign Language. We don't rely on voice or written notes to bridge the gap — we show up with our hands, our expressions, and our full attention. We believe that understanding Deaf culture and communication is not just a skill, it is a form of respect. Every staff member at Marina Bay Cafe is on that journey with us.

Every team member is actively studying ASL — not as a checkbox, but as a genuine commitment to our community.
